December Project (Honeymoon) Itineraries

December Project (Honeymoon) Itineraries

As week 3 of ‘The Honeymoon Project’ comes to a close, I’m writing an update and revealing the itineraries I presented to my sister and her husband.

Before doing so, I wanted to explain two things.

First, in my last post I said I would be revealing four itineraries vs my original plan of three, but right before presenting to my sister, I realized the fourth option had to be canceled out because they didn’t have lodging available on the correct dates. (The fourth option was The Lodge on Little St. Simon’s Island, for anyone wondering.) I thought about replacing it with an alternative fourth option, however, nothing even came close to being as right for them as these three I’ve included. I didn’t want to sacrifice quality for quantity.

Second, strategies are important, and there are a couple I employed during my work this week that are worth mentioning. When looking at the lists of activities included at each resort, it was easy for me to write down the main ones that stood out to me. But then, I had to remind myself that this was not a trip for me, but for somebody else who has a few different interests, so I included everything (even if I thought it was minor). I was able to keep that mindset moving forward. I sometimes also came across contrasting information and found the best way to be sure I got the correct info was by visiting the official resort site, instead of others (like allinclusiveoutlet.com).

Thus, after much research and organizing the information, I revealed to my sister the three best options to suit her and her husband. Keep reading if you want to know the details!
