All Bloggers Should Read This Article
Today, I read an amazing blog post on OptinMonster by Tom Southern. He talks about headlines that went viral, provides links to them, and explains how to create powerful headlines as well.
I won’t spoil the whole article, but one tip he gives is this: Add ‘infectious agents’ to the title. For example, in my title “The Article All Bloggers Should Read”, I added two:
Bloggers - This gives the meaning that anyone under the sun who has blogged, is blogging, or wants to blog may have an interest in this.
Should - This is strongly suggesting that if you are in the above category, reading this will not only be of interest to you, but will leave you with knowledge you didn’t have before.
As a (very) novice blogger, I found this incredibly helpful. So helpful, that, I’ve decided to take his advice and apply it to the rest of my posts this month. And probably every one after.
